Investigating the role of cognitive and behavioral problems in predicting self-esteem, psychological well-being and psychological helplessness of working children under the auspices of Isfahan Welfare Organization

| This research was carried out with the aim of investigating the role of cognitive and behavioral problems and abilities in predicting self esteem, psychological well-being and psychological distress among children working under the well-being of Isfahan city. The research is a correlational method. For this purpose, 80 out of three child labor centers and unaccompanied Guard, Mahan and collecting center and municipal children's children were selected through available sampling method. To collect the data, Goodman's (1997) questionnaire on problems and abilities was used, Brief Semiotics (2000), Cooper's Self Esteem (1967) and Reef's Psychological Well-Being Questionnaire (1989) were used for data analysis and review. Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression were used by SPSS software. The findings of this research showed that there is a significant relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being and psychological distress with cognitive and behavioral problems of children under the well-being of Isfahan (P> 0.05). Self-esteem, psychological well-being with problems and abilities Cognitive-behavioral work of children has a negative and significant relationship. There is also a positive and significant relationship between psychological distress and cognitive and behavioral problems in children. This research can be used to prevent, understand and justify the underlying causes of cognitive and behavioral problems in children |
